Ways you can learn your digital skills online.
YouTube : youtube is a top choice when it comes to learning a digital skill. This is because it combines audio and visual materials to educate you on what you need to know. Currently YouTube is the second largest search engine after Google and the largest video search engine, there is definitely no doubt that there are some tutorials on any skill you want to learn on YouTube.
One other benefit of YouTube is that it is free for all.
Blogs : this is the exact way I learnt most of the digital skills I have today. All you need is to make a search query on Google and it will show you some of the blogs that have a book of knowledge on that topic.
For instance, if you want to learn about running Facebook ads, you can go google “how to run Facebook ads” and then read through each and everyone of the result.
This is quite better than YouTube because blog post sometimes tends to contain more information than YouTube videos because they are updated frequently.
Udemy : have you ever heard of online courses? It is no different than what you go to school to study just that it is made available online. So this is how it works, people who have in-depth knowledge in a particular field, put together lessons (video format, PDF format and sometimes audio format as well) and make them available to the general public for a price (although there are some free online courses). Udemy is an online course market place, you can buy and sell courses on the website. So you can go check out courses related to what you want to learn and purchase them. Do make sure to check the reviews and reputation of the instructors before paying.
Mobile applications : this is still anyway of learning a digital skill although it is not fully functional, all you need to do is go to the Google playstore and search for apps related to the digital skill you want to learn, if you see anyone, you can download it and suck out the information it has to offer.
